Record a Track Record a track into GarageBand using your microphone. This track can be an introduction to the rest of your audio file.
Import Tracks Import at least 2 audio tracks (MP3, WAV, FLAC files, etc.) into your project.
Trim Trim at least one of your audio tracks down so that only a portion of the original track will be included in your final audio file. Take screenshots of this track before and after trimming.
Volume Adjust the volume level of each of your tracks so that no undesired leaps in the volume level occur between tracks.
Fade In/Out Fade at least one of your tracks in or out.
Other Effects Apply at least two other effects to your audio file (tempo change, vocal removal, reverb, etc.).
Export MP3 Export your project as an MP3.
Professionalism Whether you are creating a podcast or a mix of songs for your dance class, be sure to make your track both useful and professional. This can be done by taking time to thoroughly script spoken sections, making preparations for high recording quality, and through careful choice of the audio tracks included etc.
